Telecaster and Bass
I repaired, repainted, and overhauled the 5 string bass on the top of this image. It started out as a beater from a local pawnshop with a massive gouge on the top of the body and flaking red paint. I repaired these imperfections using bondo and repainted the body and headstock with a matte white paint and clear coat. I replaced all the hardware and wired everything from scratch. My inspiration was Larry Graham’s guitars he used during his career. The bottom Telecaster was assembled from individually sourced parts. I did all the wiring, component selection, and assembly. I wanted a surfgreen telecaster with cream binding and this was the only route to make this guitar possible.
Peas in a pod toy
A custom gift for my friend. I made several prototypes to get margins between the sliding pieces and the body wide enough as well as for magnet strength and depth. The interior is made of acrylic and outside veneer is made of birdseye maple. Everything including the individual pieces are lasercut and use neodymium magnets to “snap” in a very satisfying way. The individual “peas” are made to form a mantra than can be assembled and then repeated when sliding them up and down. The bag for the “peas” and leather case for the “pod” were made from leather scraps I had lying around. They were both hand-stitched and the “pod” case is designed from scratch, while the “peas” bag is based off of a very common drawstring design from Youtube.
Mountain Dulcimer
This design for this Dulcimer came from the book, “Making Wood Folk Instruments” by Dennis Waring. I cut, glued, and finished everything in my very small apartment at the time using hand tools, a drill, sander, and jigsaw. The f-holes, headstock scroll, and bridge area are my design.
Laser Cut Game Tokens
These tokens were a commission for a friend. Each token uses graphics from a board game representing a character. I laser cut each type of wood for each token using a variety of veneers and 1/8″ wood pieces. They have magnets in the back to stick to the board game construction. They are finished with a clear lacquer.
Rooms I Haven’t Visited
This series of images take place in rooms I constructed from cardboard, foam core, paint, various texture making materials, and found objects. They are all roughly 2′ tall and of various widths and lengths. These were a test of my model making and lighting skills to try and make something on a smaller scale appear full scale.

Lighthouse Hill (Hopper copy)
This is an oil painted copy I made of Edward Hopper’s 1927 oil painting “Lighthouse Hill”. This piece was made out of a love for Hopper’s work and to discern techniques he used in his own painting. 36″x24″ Oil on canvas on a handmade stretcher frame.
Prismacolor Drawing for Anchor Club of La Grange
8″x10″ Prismacolor drawing for a local community service organization in La Grange, Texas. I organized and shot the original photo for this drawing, then replicated the photograph on paper.
Memory Boxes
These boxes were built using pine with finger joints for the edges, cut and collaged photographs on pictorico and photogaphic paper, and hand wired LED light strips within. Each piece is a collage of memories from photographs I’ve taken that combine dreams, places, and memories together to describe moments of pain or intensity. The viewer looks into each box individually as if it were a window or screen. They are an encapsulated amalgam of memory.

Cathouse for Winter
Hand built cathouse for local stray cats during winter. I used pine, plywood, plastic sheeting, casters, hardware cloth, and found shingles from my grandparents original roof. Design is original and was made to mimic a wattle and daub house.
